WORLD CATHOLIC EDUCATION DAY

The World Catholic Education Day was launched in 2002 at a Congress of OIEC in Brasilia. It has been observed on the Day of the Ascension, which is 40 days after Easter.

The Day is being re launched by OIEC, with the support of OMAEC, IFCU, UMEC and other organizations this year for its 20th anniversary. The aim of the Day is to reflect on, recognize, and celebrate Catholic education.
