Roma meeting JEA- WUJA
From September 14 to 16, 2016 there was held in Rome a meeting organized by JEA (Jesuit Europe Alumni) with the support from WUJA (World Union of Jesuit Alumni), which was well attended by not only European but worldwide representatives.
The main topic was around “Global Migration and Refugee Crisis, Time Contemplate and act”.
The success of the working days was very satisfying since some actions were agreed in order to try to respond and help on these world situation caused by the exodus of refugees to areas of the world where they can find peace and family stability.
The last two days were dedicated to hold a WUJA General Assembly, with the participation of their representatives and discussing organization issues. The meeting ended with a private audience with the Holy Father Francisco.
In this Assembly, there was invited OMAEC president Mr. José Antonio Cecilia, who gave a presentation to attendees about the OMAEC, which was very well received by attendees, ending with a round of questions and consultative dialogue.
